And with advanced facilities like Gwinnett Medical Center-Lawrenceville being designated as a Level II Trauma Center/Stroke Center and a Level III NICU, and Gwinnett Medical Center-Duluth accredited as a stroke center, this tradition is sure to carry on. Just a few of the ways we’ve been honored over the years include the 2011 Gold Performance Achievement Award (GMC-Duluth) by the American College of Cardiology Foundation's NCDR ACTION Registry-GWTG, the GHA Partnership for Health & Accountability Quality Honor Roll in 2008 and 2011, and the 2010 Gold Award and Gold Plus Award for Stroke. We were #4 in Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 2010 Atlanta’s Best Places to Work. And in 2009 and 2010, we earned the American Heart Association’s Get With the Guidelines Heart Attack Gold Award.
